Nicolas Sanson obtained a PhD in Materials Chemistry from the University of Montpellier in 2005. He completed two postdoctoral positions one at the University of Toronto, and another at the Centre de Recherche Paul Pascal in Bordeaux. Since 2007, he is Associate Professor at Sorbonne University (Paris) and conducted his research at the laboratory of Soft Matter Sciences and Engineering (ESPCI Paris PSL). His research focuses on design of macromolecular systems such as polymers, microgels, and gels, with an emphasis on their physicochemical properties and behavior in bulk and at interfaces. Nicolas Sanson has an expertise on colloid and polymer science including self-assembly, polymers at interface and emulsion.
